CCDO Printer Monitor v1.0
CCDO Printer Monitor is a client-server application, which has the objective to monitor all
printers on the network.
This application will help you significantly reduce printing costs. Now you have specific details
about everything
that print on your company. In the future, CCDO Printer Monitor aims to allow users
access to local or network printers,
to set their limits and for better management of the budget related to everything is printing in
the company.
Skills / Technical data:
- The application supports two versions:
- XML (saving / storing data is in XML format)
- SQL (saving / storing data is in SQL format - MS SQL Server)
- Collected data from printing: machine, user, printer, document, no. of pages, no. of copies, no. of printed pages,
front / two-sided, color / black-white, page format, date and time, personal / company.
- CCDO Printer Monitor has two interface design:
- a control panel (who allows the setting of application, stop the monitor / startup
monitor, visualization and handling data, etc.)
- (optional) a form that triggers before printing (the user can specify if printing
is made in their own interest or service and also can decide to continue
or cancel the printing in progress)
- As was mentioned already CCDO Printer Monitor is a client-server application, but the client application
can also be independent of the server, and could monitor in this case, only the local printers installed.
